Waiting for my sister

Mom is 35 weeks along with my sister. She has been having a lot of contractions lately. She has had a kidney stone bothering her and making her have contractions. She ended up at the hospital 3 times in 6 days for labor which they were able to stop, thank goodness! I had a great time having a sleep over with Grammie Pammie and Grandpa though. I refused to go to sleep even though they tried to get me to sleep with my usual routine. They also tried singing and rocking and Grandpa told me stories, but as soon as they laid me down I started to cry and of course they picked me up. About 12:30 with the prospects of no sleep for the night facing them and having to work the next day, they gave up and put me in bed with them. Finally! I was so happy I was laughing!

I don't have physical therapy anymore. They say I am doing well enough without it. They will check up on me though to make sure I continue to do ok. They say I am doing ok with my speech too. I think I am doing good. I crawl really fast. I can stand up to furniture and the the fridge to play with my magnets. I can even walk with a little help. Mom has me help her by pushing my high chair back in place after I eat. I also like to help rearrange the dining room chairs at Grammies. At Grammies the family room is upstairs now. I like climbing the stairs to play up there.

Mom and Dad don't like my help in their room though. They put up a gate across their door so I can't play with the computer or help Daddy with homework. They also try things to keep me away from there toys like giving me a remote control that doesn't work. Like I can't figure that out! They gave me Grandma's old cell phone which was cool until the battery died. Hello! like that is any fun. Mom doesn't like me to play with her Ipod touch either, but I can play with it sometimes. In fact she has some games on it just for me and Grammie is amazed that I can play them. I am like hello Grammie I am more tech savy than you think. I also love my laptop. That is one toy that mom and dad don't let me play with of theirs.

I got glasses a couple of weeks ago. Now I look even more like my Daddy. I also remind Grammie alot of my aunt Kelsey when she was little. Two more of my aunties are living with Grammie now. I like that because they get to come and play with me more.

Next time you hear from us I will be a big sister! Mom will have a c-section on November 9th if she hasn't had her before. See you around then.
